Following a busy week of Open Days, the Join Me exhibition at John Prince’s St will remain up for a further fortnight.

At each open day prospective students were asked to imagine their ’1st Day Outfits’ which they would wear on their first day at the College, and write it down on a tag. Here’s a selection:

‘High waisted A-line grey skirt, white shirt, black tights and black heels’

‘I would wear a smile’

‘A Jacobean ruff – I hear they’re coming back in’

‘High waisted skirt (black) with belt, green top & Converse!’

‘Ben Sherman Ben Sherman Ben Sherman!’

The star attraction at The Looking Glass, our 2008 Graduate Exhibition, was the interactive display in the Rootstein Hopkins Space. As last year, each graduating student had a special card printed and arranged on shelves by course. Visitors to the show chose cards from the racks and placed them on the interactive tables to a view more work by a given student.

Multimedia designers Moving Brands posted this video of their ‘light based sound reactive experience’ at our BA Graduate catwalk show at the Royal Academy in June this year.

Putting up the Join Me exhibition in the Fashion Space Gallery at John Prince’s Street. The show presents the different courses on offer at LCF and ties in with the Through the Looking Glass Graduate Exhibition that  opens on 2 July.  Between 2 – 11 July students will be on hand to discuss courses, accommodation and life at the College with prospective students and visitors.
