Sarah Cooper
Sarah Cooper graduated from BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear in June 2010. She is inspired by London’s street style and club culture as well as high-end designers such as Giles Deacon and Hussein Chalayan.
The first image demonstrates her computer illustrative capabilities in presenting a design proposal for an architectural inspired shirt.
Sarah created this tailored skirt suit drawing influences from 50s air hostesses. The photoshoot is inspired by vintage 50s Vogue.
The final image is a collection of photos of garments worked in the second year of her BA. All garments were designed, developed and maufactured by Sarah herself, except for the cardigan, which was the work of team mate Cissy Chen. The photography is by Andrew Burford and Jon Arnold.
