Peter Jeun Ho Tsang

Peter graduated from BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Development in 2010 and is now studying MA Digital Fashion.

After many months of hard work, development and dialogue with the many collaborators that MA Digital Fashion student Peter Tsang had secured for his latest project, Co-Design and Professional Expertise, which included Emma Ashford, Stephen Walters & Sons, Brilliant Creations LTD, and MA Strategic Fashion Marketing student Ivan Garin, this look book showcases the menswear product range that has resulted from the collaborations.

Entitled ‘Coeur for Emma Ashford’ the collection takes the ethos of the Coeur brand and fuses it with the edgy and cool menswear accessories label Emma Ashford.  The melting of subcultures is prominent within the collection as tribal South American fabric weaves have been intertwined with British Prep and Dandyism.  Think unconventional chic.  Utilising a variety of unusual fabrics, in particular a beautiful jersey that has been cut into a classic menswear blazer, a selection of four blazers have been made that embodies the sub-cultural influence.  In addition to this, attention to detail has been paramount, in which intricate detailing has been applied that would not be seen on other men’s jackets.

Other parts of the project have included looking at silk jacquard fabrics, marketing and branding strategies, and production and supply chain issues.  This will all be a precursor to the exciting projects that Peter intends to undertake in the new few months, so do look out for all of this.
