Escalator display in Harrods

Escalators

16 pieces of LCF students’ work has been on display for the past fortnight in various locations at Harrods. Some of the pieces – which include handbags and shoes from BA (Hons) Cordwainers Accessories and BA (Hons) Cordwainers Footwear students – have been on show in the Harrods Egyptian Hall (pictured above).

The work is supported by fashion brand MCM Worldwide, who invited contributions from students on the theme of ‘Responsible Luxury’. The pieces are being auctioned to raise funds for MCM’s ‘Responsible Luxury’ scholarship.

MCM has forged close links with LCF following an internship by three students at MCM in Korea earlier this year. Read the news item.
